Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

The lymphatic system is the fluid waste system that removes waste at the cellular level. If this system is sluggish or overwhelmed, that is how we end up feeling. MLDT is a light pressure modality that works with this system that is just below the skin. Through circular and stretching movement of the skin, the lymphatic system is encouraged to function more efficiently helping to remove excess waste and swelling in the body. Very good therapy for tiredness and low energy, post surgical recovery, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

Usui Traditional Reiki and Chakra Rebalancing

Reiki is a Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relief from anxiety, depression and physical ailments, that also promotes true healing. Kirsten's intuitive nature finds the root cause of dysfunction and provides answers to problems. Many have a blissful or "out of body" experience. The treatment is administered by "laying on hands" on various places of the body, known as chakras. This is a way to clear the energy centers and receive true healing of the body and mind.

Integrative Bodywork and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy

This is a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach to integrating body/mind therapies. Sessions are done on a padded mat on the floor and may include any or all of the following modalities: restorative yoga postures, Thai massage techniques, breath awareness, energy awareness, meditation, and conscious relaxation. Based on the belief that true healing takes place from the inside out.
