"Kyle offers a very low key relaxing and informal style of class (at least his Community Yoga classes on Sunday mornings). He is very clear about demonstrating how to enter and hold poses. He welcomes student interaction. The class is not highly athletic but overall just fine for a Sunday morning." Write a review.

Hatha Yoga 1 & 2 It is "meditation in action." With each posture, the mind focuses on alignment, and the movement of the breath. As the mind unites with the body and the breath, students move into a meditative state. Self-exploration occurs through discovery and release of physical tension patterns and psychological resistance. As practice continues, a student's ability to concentrate and to relax improves and inner awareness is enhanced. Cost: 8

"This class is a great way to recover from Weekend Warrior stuff. I have a persistent knee injury that has been improved 100% since I began this class. There is a strong emphasis on working the muscle groups that tend to get neglected in regular gym workouts. If you've never been involved with yoga before and are looking to boost flexibility, improve injury recovery, or just clear your head for 60 minutes or so, then this is the class for you." "I have been with Kristen for about a year. I initially began yoga with Kristen as a cross training mechanism for running yet yoga rapidly became so much more. Kristen has shown and continues to show me how to connect with my greater intention not just for the daily practice but also for my life. This clarity has allowed me to become more at peace with myself and my surroundings through breathing and meditation techniques. I don’t know what I would do without Kristen!" Write a review.

"Yoga. I practice to keep my joints juiced, my mind mellow, my spirit springy. Awake and aware? I Am! My-oh-my. I am whole. Yoga centers my attention for intention. Like an experienced kayaker, I crash ashore only when my focus wonders from the river's mighty current. Otherwise, my life flows." Write a review.

"It's hard to put into words what is special about this class, but I think it has to do with how Cynthia guides her students' focus inward, using a combination of pranayama, chanting, and yoga postures. It's certainly the most meditative class I've taken in my 10 years of practice." Write a review.

Yoga Therapy This class is for those people who have at least an idea of yoga postures, even if you haven't practiced yoga in some time in a class or on your own. Using my ten years of practicing yoga, yoga teacher training and eight years of bodywork experience I combine that knowledge to create each class. We begin with awareness of how we are breathing and intertwine the breath with movement that opens and loosens joints. We then check in with how each student is feeling in the moment and the class is tailored with yoga postures (asanas, ah-sah-nah) to meet those needs. You will leave feeling easier in your body and mind and enlivened to meet your day.

Pat's class that combines Yin with some Yang work has enabled me to enjoy being in my body with more ease instead of constantly fighting it. John Brady: 2/13/12
"Veronique is a wonderful teacher. Her teaching range is awe inspiring ... from killer hard sequences to the most dulcet and delicate yin (long held) introspective efforts. She asks, but also senses, what the mood of the class is and then helps each student get what they need to out of each pose ... each class. Not surprisingly, this means that rarely are sessions the same one to the next! She works hard and succeeds at keeping her classes fresh and alive. She's clearly well loved by her students ... routinely welcoming spontaneous hugs and discussions before and after class. I would recommend Veronique to students new and experienced without hesitation." Write a review.
