Relaxation Massage
will help you take a mini vacation from life's daily stresses. A
variety of techniques and pressures are used to help relieve daily
stress and tension. You will feel relaxed and rejuvenated and ready
to reenter your life with a renewed attitude.
Swedish Massage is a vigorous system of treatment
designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. The many
benefits of Swedish massage may include generalized relaxation,
dissolution of scar tissue adhesions and improved circulation, which
may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
Integrated Massage combines elements of the above
with deep tissue techniques and somatic therapy techniques to address
chronic issues.

CranialSacral Therapy
>
This therapy is a gentle non-invasive method of evaluating and enhancing
the function of the cranialsacral system. The C/S system consists
of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect
the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull,
face and mouth, which make up the cranium, down to the sacrum and
tailbone. This form of therapy encourages the body’s natural
healing mechanisms to improve the functioning of the central nervous
system. It benefits and supports recovery from chronic conditions
and tensions, emotional turmoil, abuse issues, and stress relief.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
> The lymphatic system picks up cell wastes, proteins, excess fluid, viruses and bacteria from the spaces between the cells and carries them back to the blood stream so they can be filtered out and eliminated from the body. MLDT is a light pressure modality that works with this system that is just below the skin. Through circular and stretching movement of the skin, the lymphatic system is encouraged to function more efficiently helping to remove excess waste and swelling in the body. Very good therapy for tiredness and low energy, post surgical recovery, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

Integrative Bodywork Yoga Therapy
>
This is a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach to integrating body/mind
therapies. Sessions are done on a padded mat on the floor and may include any or all of the following
modalities: restorative yoga postures, Thai massage techniques,
breath awareness, energy awareness, meditation, and conscious relaxation.
This bodywork method is based on the belief that true healing takes place from the inside out. Sometimes we have life experiences that get stuffed inside and eventually show up as chronic aches and pains, or emotional upset. During the assisted postures you will be guided to explore these areas with breath and sensation in a body-centered dialogue. The integrative offerings above have been useful for symptoms associated with the following: daily stress, headaches, fibromyalgia, arthritis, headaches, MS, weight control, asthma, anxiety, depression, back pain, fatigue, insomnia, PMS, peri-menopause, trauma, and recovery from injuries.
(1 hour session $70) (1.5 hour session $95)

The purpose of a Touch for Health Balance is to discover where there is blockage in the energy flow and to open the flow for natural healing to occur. A TFH Balancing session can improve postural balance, reduce physical and mental pain, and relieve tension. In simple terms, we are balancing the energy flow and the posture to put the body in the best possible state from which to heal itself. (1 hour session $70.)

Hot Stone Therapy >
Hot Stone massage involves the application of water-heated smooth basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. The direct heat relaxes muscles, allowing manipulation of a greater intensity than with regular massage. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation, calms the nervous system and has an earth-grounding effect.
